Capitol Riverfront BID: “Toast to the Blossoms” Cocktail Tasting
Take the night to imbibe in an array of festive cherry blossom-themed cocktails from six local restaurants to kick off springtime in the Nation’s Capital at this Official Participating Event of the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
Start your cocktail tasting by picking up your drink tickets and a complimentary Cherry Blossom themed giveaway, while supplies last, from the Capitol Riverfront tent at Half Street, SE in front of Silver Social (northeast corner of Half & N Streets, SE). Then make your way around the neighborhood to try them all between 6:00 pm -10:00 pm. Attendees must check-in between the hours of 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Participating restaurants include:
- District Winery – Pink Reflections made with cherry blossom tea infused gin, lychee, cranberry, and rose water
- Pink Taco – Something Pink made with el jimador blanco, prickly pear purée, fresh lime juice, agave nectar
- Scarlet Oak – Cherry Blossom Manhattan made with whiskey, cherry blossom vermouth, angostura bitters
- Silver Social – Bourbon Blossom-Tini made with markers mark bourbon whiskey, st germain elderflower, cranberry juice, and grenadine
- Walters – Cherry Limeade made with vodka, st germain elderflower, lime, luxardo cherry simple syrup
- Tap99 – Cherry Blossom Inspired Beers, FESTIVale Cherry Saison from Old Ox Brewery (The Official Beer of the Cherry Blossom Festival) and Stone Lantern from Liquidity Aleworks
*Attendees must be 21+ to participate. All restaurants will individually check IDs before serving, so have your ID ready to show at each stop.*
